It’s as if Pastor Patience received an instruction manual from Heaven and delivered it with the loving, capable arms of a mamma who has walked this road and carries authority to deliver the message with eloquence and grace. After reading this I felt as though I was elevated to a whole new access level of my unique identity in Christ. And although one may deem these simple concepts to receive, they clearly require consistent engagement to live daily and grow into maturity.  Each section is clear and concise. Everything she dissects for the reader is abundantly corroborated with Scriptures sighted in each chapter, and every chapter has a thoughtful, precise activation to ignite our spirit into the alignment as the head of our soul and body immediately! The pathway to daily living through A HEART THAT SEES has been cleared and is beckoning.

“The Heart That Sees” is a walking  educational guide that takes the reader on a journey  of spiritual awakening. A journey into enlightenment; it can be described as a journey into illumination of the spirit.  The work according to the preface is birthed by divine orchestration, and is spirit guided. The author takes the seeker/reader, through a path into a place where sight is not physical. The journey’s ultimate end goal is the inner spiritual eye, i e. the heart that sees! It answers a self evident question, (though not articulated) how this muscle, this centre of the human circulation , the essence of the human being : the heart could get to a point of sight. Profound landmarks on this journey into visionary perception include, a place of discernment , a place of absolute focus (the one eye of God),place of unveiling…

This spiritual journey looks at many facets of the subsets on the roadmap, dealing with what it’s not, (eg what discernment is, what it’s not) and looking at how the steps to get to that place of spiritual perception can be attained.

The Heart that Sees actually sets up building blocks into divine perception. It takes one into a relationship with our Father in Heaven, through sensing, feeling, intuitively knowing, going up different rungs on the ladder’s journey to seeing with the heart. It talks about various aspects of this divine perception backed with scriptures rooted in the aspect being discussed; eachdiscussion point, ending with a section on activation. The activation section, practically guides the readers into how theycan develop this inner perspective eye. Every chapter ends with activation and prayer to help the reader into opening up to perceive that divine spiritual sight. It’s like climbing steps, building blocks each segment taking one a step closer towards arriving, ultimately, at the place of sight, non- physical.

The spiritual awakening is slowly unfolded in the reader, as the book identifies what is a God awareness through the spiritual eyes. It discusses the transformation enabling development  and entrenches it in the word of God. It generously utilises Bible references explaining what this phenomena of divine sight is; its nature and the sources on which it's grounded. It discusses the impact of the awakened heart and also the need for this awakening in the Christian’s walk. The fruits of the enlightened heart are listed as are the benefits. Essentials for the success of the journey include love, purity…. Negative influences on this road are pointed out, especially those colorful ones such as perfectism, comparison with others…

The whole journey ends with a twenty one day guided walk into the final stage of the journey.

This is an amazing book for all ages. It is self- explanatory and full of divine revelation from the Lord. As you read this book, the eyes of your understanding is enlightened to divine truth that will transform your life to higher spiritual dimension and a deeper relationship with the Lord. All who hunger and thirst after righteousness should buy this book. This is really life transforming.

I recommend this new e-book by Pastor and author, Patience Yorke Hagan (coming out in hardcopy soon). “The Heart That Sees” is a book given to her by God that can be referenced over and over to elevate your awareness of who you are and the authority and love that empower you. I read it one night when I was feeling rather heavy. I couldn’t put it down, so by very early the next morning, I had read it,  dreamt about it, and felt a huge shift in my perspective and circumstances. I have not felt down ever since.

‘The Heart That Sees’ is a powerful book that is meaty, leaving one to slowly chew every word, line upon line. It is deeply revealing bringing out true essence, healing and transformation. The activation at the end is a sweet dessert returning me to Eden.

I really appreciated how Pastor Patience explores the different aspects of the heart and how it shapes the way we see God and the world around us. The book feels more like an invitation than an instruction manual, and the prayers were especially powerful and moving. This book brought clarity, stillness, and a deeper awareness of how God speaks within all of us and how we can be more like sons.
